We won't share your private email address in the conversation on Stagend. After a reservation is accepted, we will send an email to both parties in cc.

In the rare event that an organizer is requesting to see you prior to making their reservation, it is at your discretion to meet him/her in person. If you agree to arrange a meeting, please contact us, and we'll be happy to assist you.

The Stagend community facilitates security and trust, and keeping your communication and transactions private on Stagend is a key factor in achieving this.

Your response rate and time show how quickly and consistently you reply to organizers who want to know your availability. They appear on your artist page. We calculate response rate and response time, by taking the last 90 days into account, and display our calculations in percentage. We consider a response to be one of these things:

  • Accepting or declining a booking request
  • Replying to a guest who has submitted a booking request
  • The time an artist takes to reply to their first message.

The response rate measures the percentage of new enquiries and reservation requests you respond to. It is calculated based on the enquiries and requests you have received in the past 90 days.

A low response-rate could result in the deactivation of the artist's page

Email addresses and phone numbers are shared after a booking has been accepted. You can find this information in your messages page on the right or in the final confirmation. Before accepting a booking request, you can use the messaging system on the site to communicate.

In order to maintain your safety and privacy, all contact between artists and organizers needs to be handled on the site before a booking is accepted. If you need a call with organizer or artist, please contact us, and we'll be happy to assist you.

If you attempt to exchange email addresses or phone numbers before having an accepted booking, this information will be automatically removed. Continued attempts at transacting offline may result in your removal from the site. Learn more about why it’s good to keep communication and transactions on Stagend.

If your booking is accepted, meaning confirmed and ready to proceed, you will receive an email with a summary of the conditions.

Organizers: In order to have an accepted booking, you must book using the Stagend payment system. Once your request has been officially accepted, you will receive an email notification from Stagend. Then you can have access to artist’s contacts and let us pay the artist after the concert.

Artists: In order to have an accepted reservation, you must have accepted the reservation request. Next, wait for the final confirmation from organizer and then coordinate the details of the event.

If the organizer cancels your booking in his or her Stagend account, you will automatically be notified by Stagend’s system. Your payout will be released normally, 24 hours after the originally scheduled event date. Payouts for cancelled reservations will not be released early.

At the time of cancellation, the organizer is automatically refunded according to your cancellation policy. If you'd like to offer your guest more, please contact us, and we'll be happy to assist you.

If the reservation hasn't changed to Cancelled in your Stagend account, then the reservation has not been officially cancelled in our system—it's still considered active and will still appear on your calendar.

Currently you can choose to use one of the following terms of cancellation:

Standard (Default): full refund up until 30 hours prior to event. 50% refund from the 30th hour prior the event up to the event moment. Except fees.

Example: if the organizer cancels the event 30 hours prior to the event, he gets back 100% of the cachet. If he cancels later, the artist takes 50% of the cachet.

Moderate: full refund up to 4 weeks before the event. Refund of 50% from 4 to 2 weeks prior to the event. Service costs excluded.

Example: if the organizer cancels the event four weeks prior will be fully refunded. If the event is canceled two weeks before the artist will receive 50% of the amount, and if the event is canceled during the 2 weeks before the event the artist will receive the entire the amount.

Strict: no refund provided before the event in case of cancellation by the organizer. Exceptions to this policy may be granted only on exceptional and justified events.

Example: if the organizer cancels the event the full amount established will be paid to the artist.

If the organizer cancels the booking, your payout is determined by the cancellation policy you had in place at the time of booking. You can refund the organizer more than the policy allows: please contact us, and we'll be happy to assist you.

In the event that you must cancel, we kindly urge you to do so right away. Please contact the organizer to explain, then officially cancel the booking as soon as possible on Stagend at your Dashboard > Requests for You > Details. In the booking page, just cancel the booking. This is an essential first step, as it provides the organizer with the opportunity to find another artist.

Your booking is officially cancelled when the status says “Canceled” in your Stagend account. Otherwise, the reservation has not been officially cancelled in our system. By cancelling a booking in your account, please note that you will be recorded as the party responsible for initiating the cancellation, effective immediately.

Because artist cancellations require additional customer support, as well as funds for securing last-minute artists, the following actions may be applied: you may be subject to a cancellation fee if you cancel more than once. This will be taken from your next payout.

The organizer is fully refunded if you cancel before the event, and you will receive no payout. When you cancel a confirmed booking, please know your cancellation policy will no longer determine your payout, and the organizer will be fully refunded.
