What we offer

Our focus is to provide quality and creative music for various events. Whether you are seeking a solo performer, duo, trio, quartet or big band. Mama Miriama can provide an eclectic show for all ages. From coffee house stages, festivals, clubs, private events, life milestones and weddings, Mama Miriama's original music and select covers in many genres will warm your heart and keep your guests of all ages dancing into the night. We are also available for ceremonial music on Kora (a 22 string African harp), violin, and other chamber music configurations can be arranged.

Cancellation policy:
Standard <b>Standard (Default):</b> full refund up until 30 hours prior to event. 50% refund from the 30th hour prior the event up to the event moment. Except fees.

Line Up Configurations
1. Solo performance with guitar, vocal and Kora (22 string African Harp and strings, with some electronic Loops.
2. Duo-The above with Percussionist
3. Jazz Trio- Guitar and Vocal with Bass/Kontrabaß, Perc/ schlagzeug.
4. Jazz Quartet-add soloist Saxophon, Keyboard or 2nd guitar.
5. Reggae show- 5-6 piece band with African percussion and rap.
6. Soul/ R&B show Band 9 piece with horn section.
7. Chamber music- string quartet.

Set Up
As Trio, we need space enough for Kontrabaß, small Schlagzeug and guitarist with amps. We have our own PA, but no lights.

Biography

Miriama's original musical concept developed from all the different cultural influences mixed with her American-born love of rocknroll, jazz and blues.
Equally at home on small intimate stages and larger city and festival stages, Mama Miriama Band's music has no cultural or musical boundaries.
With her unique outlook on life, original style on guitar and violin and her warm voice, Miriamas own compositions and songs touch the heart.
