Anti-Folk with a Psychedelic Drop
STREET CORNER TALKING ist eine fünfköpfige Anti-Folk Formation aus Zürich. Mit ihrer ersten LP "Empty Bottles and A Bag Of Dreams", welche am 27. Januar 2017 in der Roten Fabrik getauft wurde, präsentieren sie eine einzigartige Verbindung von Musik und Poesie, welche aus der intensiven Zusammenarbeit mit dem Britischen Untergrundpoeten Jamie X hervorging. Die Songs erzählen Geschichten von Gauklern, Spielern, verlorenen Seelen und dem Gefühl woanders hinzugehören und ausbrechen zu wollen. Street Corner Talking bleiben dabei aber stets „feel good medicine“ und ihre Konzerte sind Therapie – treibende, ungestüme Erlebnisse, welche bleibende Wirkungen hinterlassen. Mit weit über 100 Konzerten in Zentral und Osteuropa, haben sie dies längst unter Beweis gestellt.

über 120 Konzerte im In und Ausland. Von kleinen akkustischen Sets in Bars bis hin zu full Rock n Roll Sets ist alles mitdabei.
The storytellers of: crossroads, lost souls, ramblers, revelers, gamblers, outcasts, escapists, pedlar's, seduction, heart-break, lovers and meddlers. Inspired by their mutual love of, Folk, Rock, and Psychedelic music of the 60s and 70s era, Street Corner Talking combines these styles with British Music from the 90. Street Corner Talking have been on tour since 2008 on various stages in Switzerland, Germany, England, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, and Croatia not to mention the fact that their songs are played on various Swiss radio stations. Furthermore their debut single, "Judgement Day" with the accompanying video is being broad-casted on MTV, VIVA and JOIZ.
