ZEM, a classical trained harpist and songwriter sings her own songs & compositions and those of her heroes, accompanied by her semi-electric harp and percussion - as a one-women band.
During her very first performance, ZEM won the TV5 Monde Audience Award.
Born in Ethiopia, raised in Belgium, classically trained, innovative in vocation, hip-hop as roots, French chansons as guilty pleasure, blues as experience, jazz as rhythm, soul as prophecy: ZEM!
